【摘要】:TheuseofthebodymeasurementinformationinTables1and2willassistmanufacturersindevelopingpatternsandgarmentsthatareconsistentwiththecurrentanthropometriccharacteristicsofthepopulationofinterest.Thispracticeshouldinturnreduceorminimizeconsumerconfusionanddissatisfactionrelatedtoapparelsizing.(AlsorefertoISO3635SizeDesignationProcedures.)1.1Thesetableslistbodymeasurementsofyoungadultfemalejuniorfiguretype,sizes0to19.Althoughthesearebodymeasurements,theycanbeusedasabaselineindesigningapparelforyoungwomeninthissizerangewhenconsideringsuchfactorsasfabrictype,easeforbodymovement,styling,andfit.1.2Thejuniorbodyisyounger,notfullydeveloped,withahigherwaistlinethanotherwomen''ssizeranges.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitheracceptableSIunitsorinch-poundunitsshallberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother,withoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
