【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandarddefinestheminimumfitnessforpurposerequirementsforhydrantstobeusedin,orconnectedto,watersupplypipesystems,aboveorbelowground(seeEN805),carryingwaterintendedforhumanconsumption.Thisstandardspecifiesthedesignrequirements,theperformancerequirements,andtheconformityassessmentmethodforhydrants,whatevertheirtype,materialsandfunctions.Wherehydrantscanbeusedforfirefighting,irrigationorotherfunction,additionalrequirementscanbegiveninotherstandards(e.g.prEN14339:2001).Thisstandardappliesinprioritytoanyotherproductorteststandard.TherequirementsfromotherstandardsapplyonlywhenthisEuropeanStandardreferstothem.ThispartofEN1074dealswiththerequirementsapplicabletobothundergroundandpillarhydrants,insizesDN65toDN150,andPFAupto16bar.ThispartofEN1074doesnotgiverequirementsfortheoutletsortheirinterfacewiththehydrants,sincetheyaresubjecttonationalstandards.
